Meeting with Mentor

I had a meeting with my mentor, Mark Kuczinski who works with the Pittsburgh Penguins, yesterday. We talked about different things such as talking about my seizures and epilepsy and things that relate to the two. We talked about the different things that relate to how epilepsy may make people look at me in the work place. This is important to me and my project because it deals with epilepsy awareness and the employeer should know about my epilepsy but, only if I tell them after I have started working. This is because the employeer shouldn't ask about it because that is against the law, as I found out, this is because epilepsy is an disability/ disorder.

Citing Sources

Its been a while since I blogged, but right now Im dealing with notes and citing my sources, we went to the library this week and I checked out books. I am pulling info from them and citing the book. Thats about it for now.

Thesis

Today I am working on my thesis statement, but I'm having a little bit of trouble with wording. Im not sure what to say exactly. Its a work in progress!

More... After Hours!

I had a meeting today after school with my mentor in the Employment part of my project. This is part of my action because, through this it is very likely that knowlege will be shared on the subject of epilepsy. The meeting was with my mentor Mark Kuczinski and one of my other contacts, Francine Reyher. My mentor is with the Bright Horizon Program. There are 4 sessions that I will be participating in at different points in the near future and I have different points at which times I will be meeting with Mark in which we will discuss dfferent things,( More details may come) This will give me some work experience, which can be added to what work experience I already have and this can be part of my action because it does what I want to do in my project ...Spread Awarness!

Notes... This is It!

Im spending my last day on my notes trying to organized them, putting the source with the info. I'm looking for new imformation ar the same time. I have been very consentrated on one foundation question and I have alot of info on it. I am answering some foundation questions that I havent had time to focus on in depth.

Notes... Again!

Im still at it... Im working on my notes. I am still putting the sources with the information. This is taking a while. Im finding some different information and making sure I put it on with the rest of the notes. This is is taking a while and I'm kind of flustered but this is kind of anoying, although some days are better than other.

Mentor Meeting

I just recieved a email and I have a date and place for when I can meet my mentor. This will be good for me because I can get help on my project from my mentor. I am hoping I can learn things from them that I can incorporate into my classes once I get my classes on the "run". I am working on answering my questions at the moment.
