- Absence Seizure- seizures where the person stares into space but does not jerk or shake during the seizure
- Atonic Seizures- brief seizure that deals with the brain function, muscle control in the infected person is lost
- Complex partial- a seizure that happens in the cerebral part of the brain, starts off with the person chewing and then doing random things
- Depression- a mood that makes the person affected feel sad, as well hopeless
- gran mal-associated with the gran mal seizure in which both parts of the brain are affected and are now known as gran mal seizures
- Infantile spasms-clusters of seizures, limbs made longer. This normally happens in the morning or perhaps after naps
- Myoclonic Seizures-contraction of muscles on both sides of the body during a seizure
- Myoclonus- twitching of muscles
- reflex epilepsy- a type of seizue that only happens when it is started by a specific trigger
- Simple partial-associated with seizures affecting only one region of the brain, epileptic person is still conscious in the event of simple partial seizures
- Tonic Clonic Seizues- Gran mal seizures
